Charter Of Slytherin

1) Government


1.1) The Headmaster
The Headmaster is the supreme leader of the Slytherin. The Headmaster shall represent the Slytherin Alliance in all things and have the authority to administer and regulate all aspects of Slytherin provided his/her actions do not conflict with this Charter.

1.2) Deputy Headmaster
The Deputy Headmaster shall be chosen by the Headmaster and shall act on behalf of the Headmaster should the need arise. The Deputy Headmaster shall assume the position of Headmaster when the Headmaster steps down or becomes inactive. The Headmaster may also give and remove any extra responsibilities to the Deputy Headmaster as they see fit.

1.3) Faculty and Staff
The Faculty and Staff shall be appointed or removed and responsibilities chosen by the Headmaster. Positions within the Faculty/Staff Roles may be created or removed by the Headmaster without reason at any time.



2) Membership

2.1) Gaining Membership
In order for a potential member to gain full membership into Slytherin they must go through the application process set forward by the government. Upon failure any potential applicant will be allowed to apply

(1) One more time after which they will be barred from applying again. The Headmaster may remove this restriction at any time.

2.2) Responsibilities of Members
All members of Slytherin have the responsibility to fight for the alliance when at war, help when help is needed, and follow any and all rules and regulations put forward by the government.

2.3) Retaining Membership
All members must have an associated Politics and War nation. If a member no longer possesses a nation, they cannot retain membership in Slytherin without approval from the Headmaster.

2.4) Expulsion
Any member may be expelled by a majority vote between the Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster and Faculty.



3) Military

3.1) Rapid Response Team

The Rapid Response Team (RRT) shall be appointed or removed by the Headmaster or his designee. They will be comprised of the best military nations that Slytherin has to offer. There shall be at least (3) three and no more than (12) twelve members in the Rapid Response Team at one time. The Headmaster or his designee is given the authority to do so may choose to give them any special privileges they see fit.


3.2) Declarations of War

The Headmaster has the sole authority to declare war on behalf of the alliance.



4) Procedures


4.1) Laws
Any member can propose a law in the alliance. The law will go to a vote and once approved with a greater than ½ vote, the law goes to the Headmasters desk for review.  4.1.1) Any potential law must be accepted by the Headmaster before becoming a full and binding law in Slytherin. A law can be anything as long as it doesn’t conflict with this charter. The Headmaster has the power to veto any law.  The Headmaster can also remove a law at any time.

4.2) Treaties
The Headmaster has the sole authority to ratify any potential treaty.

4.3) Amendment

Any potential amendment to this Charter must be submitted to the Headmaster before being put to a vote. The amendment shall require approval of no fewer than two-thirds of all voting membership within a 96 hour time frame.
